Hi! It's really lovely to meet you!

I'm Amy! I'm an almost-Emmy almost-winning comedy writer and producer based in Brooklyn. Currently, I'm a writer/producer at Wendover Productions, where (among other things) I write for the—dare I say—beloved YouTube channel Half As Interesting. Before this, I was a speechwriter at West Wing Writers, where I was published under other names in TIME Magazine, Variety, CNN.com, the Washington Post, and more, and snuck words into the mouths of pop stars, activists, comedians, business leaders, politicians, and others at fancy events to which I was not invited. And before all that, I was a roller coaster operator, a zoo cleaner, a political canvasser, and a caretaker to a diabetic cat with a lot of personality.

Under my own name, I've written for The Belladonna and Points in Case, organized and written in a full early-quarantine Decameron, written/directed/produced several comedy shorts, and performed stand-up for audiences around the world! Examples of all the above can be found on this very website, as can my scone, brownie, and cookie recipes (which are, if we're being honest, more famous and beloved than anything else I've mentioned).
